Honestly, how many times have you thought about your mom? Do you really consider mom's life when you live? Actually, no. Maybe you are busy living your own life and feel that you don't have any time to look after for others. This book, "Please look after mom" gives chance for people who are late and give tranquil consolation. And for people who are not late yet, can learn a great lesson
"Please look after mom" is a book published by the writer Shin kyeong sook. The basic story is about searching for their mom who got lost in the subway station due to the crowded people. While searching for their mom, the families: her daughter, her son and her husband rewind the memorises and finally realize that mom was very important. The viewpoint differs each chapter, which I thought it was very clever. First chapter starts with the viewpoint from the daughter, than her son and then husband and finally, the mother her self. There is no typical climax but the story overall is very touching, calm and lyrical.
This book can be quite boring since the story isn't that adventurous or funny. However, by rotating the visual points the story became more touching and work upon feelings. For every page that I turn, all of them has some kind of aftertaste in it. And since the topic is about mom, a person we all feel thankful of, it is easily to get touched. After reading this book, I got a chance to look back and think deeply for what I have done for mom. To think of it, I've never done anything for her. She worked all day long to feed me, to teach me, to make me feel happy. But I always grumbled, and complained for more. But my mom, she never got what she wanted from me. In the book, the characters really regret for not doing good for mom when they had her and regretted the fact that they realized their mom was actually very important after they lost her. I was very sympathized by that point and promised my self to behave well for my mom so that I don't have to regret when I have to say bye-bye to her.
Even if the book is only 3 centimeters thick,. the lesson we get from it is unmeasurable. I recommend this book for all people, and especially for people who need comfort and wants emotional encouragement.

It is a recent issue whether watching television is good or not. Of course, TV distracts students from studying with fun and entertaining programs and they are really addictive that it is hard to come out once you go in. However, you can't ignore the good things that television has. For me, i think television is beneficial in many ways because we can learn from it and stress can be released.
